Pastors Jerry and Virginia Brace have years of ministry experience and walk in the true wisdom of God. Being faithful members of LWF since 1989, they have been involved with truly every part of the ministry. Now serving as Associate Pastors, Jerry and Virginia are an integral part of the new move of God at LWF.
Pastor Jerry was ordained in 1993. He served as teacher, principal, superintendent then an accreditation officer for the State Education Department. After he spent 38 years as an educator for the State of Oklahoma, he retired in 1997. Pastor Jerry has a Masters in Business Education and is a certified temperament counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association. Pastor Jerry has the heart of a true servant and exemplifies walking in the wisdom of God. He has become a spiritual father to many over the years and a pillar of strength for the LWF body.
Pastor Virginia operates in the office of Prophet and she ministers in a powerful prophetic anointing, changing the atmosphere everywhere she goes. She also brings insight and revelation to the people through her strong teaching of the word of God.
She was also ordained in 1993. Pastor Virginia retired in 1999 after serving 24 years in the US Postal Service, 19 of those as a Postmaster. She is a certified temperament counselor with the National Christian Councilors Association, has a B.S. in Elementary Education, and in April of 2007, she received a Doctorate in Practical Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute, in Colorado Springs. Pastor Virginia is a member if the International Society of Deliverance Ministers. (ISDM)
They have made their home in Woodward, OK the past 10 years, prior to this they lived 28 years in Vici, OK.
They have 3 grown children. 2 sons and 1 daughter (Shellee Cox), 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Pastor Shawn Johnson may be new to the Leadership Team of Living Word Fellowship, but he is not new to ministry. Over the last 20 years he has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Royal Ranger Commander, Church Administrator and most recently as Associate Pastor for Assemblies of God churches both in Oregon and in California. As an associate pastor he was responsible for corporate prayer gatherings and various areas of teaching ministry. This broad spectrum of ministerial experience has given Shawn a pastor's heart for ministering to God’s people of all ages.
Shawn has completed one year of ministerial training at Capital Bible College (formerly Capital Bible Institute) in Sacramento, California, and various courses with Global University of the Assemblies of God. He currently possesses ministerial credentials with Grace International out of Houston, Texas.
Shawn is happily married to Jodi Johnson. Jodi is currently serving as LWF's Church Administrator. She also has been involved in a wide array of ministry as well as serving as a missionary in Liberia, W. Africa. They are excited about the addition of their first child to their family in February 2011. In his free time, Shawn enjoys painting and digital photography.
Tom and Linda Poston are life-long residents of the Woodward Area. They were high school sweethearts and both attended Oral Roberts University.
They were married while in college and have two sons and three amazing grandsons. Tom and Linda gave their hearts and lives to Christ as teenagers and have had the honor of serving in the Kingdom all of their adult lives. Having ministered in Children’s Church, Youth, Adult Bible Studies and Missions they bring a variety of experience to the LWF Family.
Tom & Linda currently serve as our Family Life Pastors. They serve on the LWF Ministry Team and are actively involved in the LWF Leadership Team. Tom and Linda oversee the Outreach Ministries of Living Word Fellowship, which include Tom overseeing the Celebrate Recovery Ministry inside the prison and outside meetings at LWF, and Linda oversees the Coffee Shop Ministry at LWF, and she is also the Family Life Pastor, which includes the counseling needs in the family of LWF.
Tom and LInda have zealous hearts to see the lost saved, and lives changed in the Kingdom of God. They are passionate about sharing the love of Christ in all that they do and making a difference in people's lives, for the purpose of bringing Glory to God.
