Bernita Weber - Celebrate Recovery and The Daniel Plan
Small Group Leader
You may think recovery is only for drug addicts and
alcoholics; people whose lives seem out of control...But, that’s just not true. Sin is addicting and the Bible says, “all have sinned.” Not one of us is perfect. We’ve all blown it; we’ve all made mistakes. We’ve hurt ourselves, we’ve hurt other people, and others have hurt us.
Because of sin, each of us needs repentance and recovery in order to live the way God intends. That is why, years ago, a biblical recovery program based on the teachings of Jesus, called Celebrate Recovery, was developed. The goal is to become more Christ like in our character.
No matter your problem, emotional, financial, relational, spiritual, sexual, or whatever, as you fellowship with us and work the 8 Recovery Principles, you will experience profound life change and freedom from your hurts, hang-ups and habits. As you begin to grow spiritually and you become free from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and –most importantly– a stronger personal relationship with
God and others.
We need others and God to help us! So if this sounds good to you, join us Tuesday Evenings @ 7 PM @ LWF Church.
Life Verse: Luke 1:37
Bernita comes from an abusive childhood and she has been in program for 25 years. She is a testament to its success, all you have to do is follow the steps to freedom!
